How can a Mayweather fan or any true fan of boxing not criticize the Bradley win?

Especially the Mayweather fans who want to see the megafight. Don't you realize that with a Bradley victory Arum had created a marketable alternative for himself? We have moved one huge step away from the megafight that we will surely never see. Arum now can make more money making a new trilogy with 2 of his guys and he gets all the money himself.

You have to want to see the decision reversed and Arum discredited.

    Bradley didn't win.

I just watched the fight again, and it was closer than I initially thought it was. Bradley still did not win though, there's no way.

Bradley clearly didn't think he won. The vast majority of people thought he lost. There were a number of close rounds, but even playing devil's advocate and giving them all to Bradley, I still think there is no way he won.

My issue is Pacquiao should've worked more. If he just upped his pace/volume a bit then Bradley would'nt have been able to stop it IMO.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Roger Mayweather, the most staunchy critic of Manny Pacquiao questioned the outcome of the fight. These two were the most unexpected figure who criticize the decision.

I don't know if there is in the history of boxing whose decision of the judges was over rule and reverse without the involvement of a foul or illegal substance. One way too is, if they found an involvement of outside influence. I might be wrong because I don't think the decision will be reverse. Nobody believed Bob Arum before and much more now. Rematch is not feasible because of Timothy Bradley who doesn't have a fan base. If they have a hard time selling this first fight, much more the rematch.

rag you got it wrong. Everyone wins with this bad decision. Bradley gets a second paycheck, Pac gets another paycheck and Mayweather gets bargaining power. The last negotiations fell on the share. Mayweather won't go 50-50. Now Pac lost and he has no chance to ask for 50-50. Especially, when the sales numbers for this PPV come and are compared to Mayweather-Cotto. Also, Pac has looked more vulnerable in his last 2 fights. Floyd will be delighted to take on someone that looks vulnerable. That means we may have actually moved FORWARD towards a superfight. I think the decision is bs but the superfight is still on. Boycott the rematch and push for the superfight!

Some (very few actually about 5 guys on here) Mayweather fans dont care one bit about boxing, only that Floyd earns big money. They probably dont understand what has happened and are waiting to hear how much was earned, boxing after all is not about fighting, its about money earned!

In all seriousness most honest boxing fans will think its bad that boxing is the way it is,even in the most high profile fights what could be interprited as cheating goes on.Boxing prmoters (Arum especially) do not care one bit for the boxing fan.

The decision wont be reversed in my opinion, also Arum is discredited in the eyes of most boxing fans, he doesnt care though, to him we are not people, simply dollar signs.

I dont just want the decision reversed and Arum discredited, I want wholesale changes in the sport, otherwise all this is a case of overturning one high profile decision but not addressing boxings widescale corruption.

This isnt about the Bradley win, its about the fact that even in the highest profile fights there is evidence of corruption and thats not good no matter how you look at it.

Ummm... Naahh. I saw the fight and Pac was tired as hell. Bradley, on the other hand, didn't bleed, didn't lose stamina, landed more punches than Pacquiao and showed he was just as fast and sometimes even faster than him. I'm sorry if it hurts to see the giant (of heart) fall, but he did lose the fight. And, no, there was no cheating, I don't care what Arum says that Bradley said (actually, if you watch the fight again, you can see Bradly smiling when the fight ended and Pac's face was a little somber. Truth be told, I think Bob Arum lied about Bradley telling him anything at all.). If boxing history has taught us anything is that you should never believe what the promoters say -no matter if it's good or bad -you should never trust them. Of course, it is profitable to see a 2nd fght between these two, but there was no need for Arum to intentionally damage his own best fighter's record by rigging what should have been a meaningless fight. He could have easily just negotiated a second fight for November anyway to secure some income while Mayweather gets out of jail -which is just what he did because the fight was already programmed for Nov. 2. And trust me, there was no need to create any controversy over this fight in order to sell the 2nd one on PayPerView because Pacquiao always sells his fights. His fans are loyal and will keep buying the fights and filling the stadiums, no matter what. So, the way I see it, it would not have been a smart move for Arum to steal the fight for Bradley. If anything, he would have angered Pac's non-Filipino fans, who are not so loyal to his myth, as to his boxing. Those fans are now angry 'cause they think Arum rigged the fight in order to make another fight and another and another... Now a lot of them are seriously considering not buying any more fights and streaming them, instead from the Web. And Arum, as the cunning businessman he is, knows he can't let that happen. He was cheering for Pacquiao to win, and he was pretty sure he would. Too bad for him that his fighter wasn't as ready as he thought he was.

Margarito might win the combat. Cotto has skill speed he exceptionally plenty has the full kit that defines a boxer and margarito stopped him on the eleventh around. Mayweather has speed, brains and an incredible protection yet mayweather retreats to the ropes alot and that could desire to be deadly understanding margarito destroyed cotto on the ropes. If mayweather have been to combat antonio it would must be contained in direction of the hoop.

I find it commendable that the Floyd fans admit that it was a rip off. That Manny actually won the fight.

I was glad to see Floyd in the Cotto fight because he actually went head on with Cotto.

I do want to see the decision reversed. It was a brutal shock for 95% of the people all around the world.

I don't think they're saying Bradley won. They probably just think it's funny Manny lost and probably got screwed over by his own promoter.

What happened to all the Pacquiao fans who said a judge's decision shouldn't be questioned?

When Pac benefited from controversial decisions, they claimed that the judges and not the public, should be the ultimate authority on who is the rightful winner because they're trained officials. They also claimed that the official record is what truly matters most. Well, according to the official record, Bradley defeated Pacquiao. Ha ha, I guess after witnessing Pac receive controversial victories in the past, they didn't foresee Pac being on the losing end of one-- otherwise, they wouldn't have put their feet in their mouths by having to contradict themselves now.

So whose opinion matters most? If it's the public's, then Marquez beat Pacquiao and Pacquiao beat Bradley. If it's the judge's, Pacquiao beat Marquez and Bradley beat Pacquiao.
