what are some of the most ignorant or false comments you've heard about a band you like?

Some kid said something in his question about how Maiden should stop making music, because they're old, and then got REALLY butthurt when i told him to go fornicate with a cactus and reported my answer.

Well, I listened to them before and didn't like them. I tried again and it's just not my thing...

But the comment doesn't really do the band justice. I might lightly agree with the general criticism he was giving, but they're certainly not anywhere as atrocious as what he's describing.

At least they're WAY more skilled on their instruments then I can hope to be at the moment lol, songwriting just isn't their greatest virtue.

So yeah I understand if you're annoyed that people lump everything together before listening more carefully.

Well, sometimes I hear the good ol' Thrash heads complaining about Metallica and how they're watered down compared to Slayer or even Megadeth (LOL !!!) because they're didn't just adhere to the basic formula of Thrash. I understand their point, but I think they can save the more pernicious (and unjust!) commentary to themselves.

Okay, so Green Day is my favorite band, I love 'em to death, but people are ALWAYS saying they're sell-outs and s**t, just because they signed onto a major label.

One guy on the Pandora Internet Radio comments page for Green Day said: "This sh*t is such commercial garbage. I pray every day that Billy Joe Armstrong will finally realize that he sucks and just kill himself."

Come on, really? I just can't believe someone would honestly wish death on an artist just because they don't like their music. That's pretty sad, and if that's really the kind of thing that guy prays, I guess he's got himself a one-way ticket to hell if there is one. Plus, he misspelled "Billie".

Well I once met someone who absolutely swore that The Doors had copied Green Day. They kept going on and on about it, until I finally showed them that the bands were separated by a couple of decades.

i've got been advised via some those that I should not be allowed to stay a classic existence or take unfavourable aspects, because of the fact I definitely have a studying concern. i'm no longer thick or stupid and it incredibly is not suitable how a lot I tell those human beings, they do no longer pay attention because of the fact they do no longer desire to have faith me. all of them seem to think of that i'm in simple terms making a load of nonsense. i've got been noted as, retard, stupid, tw@t, pig face, birkett, spag, dinosaur brains, etc all because of the fact I definitely have Dyslexia. apparently to a pair human beings, i do no longer understand a thank you to think of and shield myself. some human beings do no longer understand what a studying concern is to be truthful. because of the fact it ends with the be conscious "incapacity or concern", they at present day think of i'm intellectually and mentally challenged and that i'm relatively stupid. once I write this in my C.V or tell somebody, they only quit speaking to me and ignore approximately me.
