Do you personally know anyone who has served their time in prison for murder?
I have a close friend who spent 26 yrs in prison for a double murder.... The reason he didn't get life was because the only eyewitness recanted his story during trial.
He's pretty cool to hang out with though.
By the way, he shot the two brothers who raped his little sister.

Yes .... .. .quite a few
Just remember, most folks don't want the stigma that is attached to Murder following them.
So if someone tells you about the passed, accept it and move forward.
Some folks were or may have been very justified in their actions, others tell it as if they were.
Some people can really change . . . Others are very good at pretending to change.
Be smart .... Know the difference.

To make a protracted and sophisticated tale short, California's universal inhabitants is growing to be, and so is its penitentiary inhabitants. The "turnover", which isn't a be conscious the penitentiary gadget likes to apply, has certainly sped as much as a pair degree in the final quite a few years. particular, many non violent crimes are being surely brushed aside. although California's rules tend to maintain criminals locked up in the event that they are repeat offenders. California has the quickest-growing to be penitentiary inhabitants of each and each of the U. S. states with super populations. Governor Schwarzenegger has finished his activity greater effectual-than-widespread for a statesman in terms of having violent criminals off the streets. in this regard i'm happy California has a Republican. although now and returned, the California government is going approximately issues in the incorrect way. i think they might desire to make greater area in the penal gadget for violent criminals. After looking at each and each of the penitentiary documentaries on MSNBC I definitely have considered first hand people who do no longer belong in the penitentiary gadget. there is lots room to be made for violent criminals in California. Incarceration of nonviolent criminals makes the full state much less risk-free than what it may well be.
