RHH: B/S The best rap albums of 2012 were released in May? (Killer Mike&El-P are 2012's MVPS)?
Two instant classics dropped last month:
R.A.P. Music by Killer Mike and El-P ----- A definite 10/10. Flawless piece of work. Best album in recent memory.
Cancer 4 Cure by El-P------ Another flawless piece of work. 10/10.
Those two guys just lit up the whole rap scene in a couple of weeks with two undisputed classics. MVP's of 2012, and I don't see anyone coming close to those two albums.
And the other album last month:
Control System- Ab-Soul------- Dope, intelligent, well put together album. 8.5/10

What's so funny about those scores? Both of those albums are the best releases this year. The most sonically potent, lyrically inventive, and polished works of the year.

Call me a stan but Curren$y's The Stoned Immaculate is the best album Ive heard this year (ive heard all 3 of the albums you listed)

Apollo Brown & OC "Trophies" is my favourite album of the year so far.
