Yes, he was. He loved children and he is the best example for fathers.

1– His love and mercy for children.

Abu Salmah related that Abu Hurayrah said, "The Prophet of Allah kissed Hasan ibn 'Ali while Aqra' ibn Habis was sitting nearby. Aqra' said, 'I have ten children and have never kissed one of them.' The Prophet looked at him and said, 'Those who show no mercy will be shown no mercy.' (Muslim)

    2– His consideration for babies

Hadrat Abu Qatadah Haris Ibn Rib'i (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said: I stand up for Prayer [Salat] intending to prolong it. In the meantime I hear the wailing of a baby and I have to shorten my prayer, being apprehensive lest my recitation of a long verse may tell upon the baby's mother. (Bukhari)

3– His message of treating children equally.

Narrated An-Nu'man ibn Bashir: The Prophet said: Act equally between your children; Act equally between your sons. (Dawud).

    The list goes on.

Assalamu alaykum Really prophet Muhammad was a good role model for fathers and also husbands and leaders. That is why the writer Michael H Hart has entered Muhammad as the first one among 100 leaders who have been evaluated as the most influential persons in history in his book called "The 100:A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History" He loved all of his wives and treated them well fairly and gently. He respected and loved and also helped his wives. He was recognized as a good father by all of his sons and daughters including Fatimah..Based on hadith he prayed and let his grand child Hassan on his back so his movement in praying was so slow.He was a great leader who was trusted by all of his shahabahs He was also good commander in the war He was loved by all of his people/followers and also was respected by his enemies

just to handle people who say 'poems are haram' They of course dont have a clue approximately there faith! each and each of the excellent scholars composed pleasing poetry on countless subjects. Imam Shaafi advance into properly prevalent for his beatiful poems. Off the appropriate of my head a widespread poem advance into written by employing Abdullah bin Mubarak(ra) (the instructor of Imam Bukhari and a contempry of Imam Abu Hanifa) who wrote to the excellent Abid al haramain. Im particular all people who've studied the early generations will remember that occasion.

Well he raised the greatest woman to set foot on this earth and the first lady of Jannah, so I think so. If you want specific examples look into how the Prophet (saw) and Fatimah (as) would greet each other and the respect and love they had for each other. He said that the most beloved person in the world to him was his daughter :) And remember before many people would bury their daughters alive, rather the Prophet (saw) loved her so much, more than anyone, and praised her as the leader of the women of all the worlds and gave her the utmost respect and regarded her as one of the best in his community, so much so that hurting and angering her is hurting and angering the Prophet (saw). Also look at how he treated his grandsons Hassan (as) and Hussein (as) who he regarded as his own sons. Personally I think a really beautiful aspect of the Prophet (as) is how he was towards his children, especially Fatimah (as) and her children. It shows what a beautiful person he was and how loving, kind, caring and compassionate he was.

Yep, just look at his daughter, Fatima, the best women of the heavens and earth, look at how he treated her and with what respect she treated him, what love there was and how much she cared for him and helped him during the spread of his message, she was a pillar, a support for him, and who but the prophet could have raised such a child, with such wisdom chastity and greatness, prophet mohammad is a good role model for everybody from every angle.

Yes I think the best of role models for fathers.

By the way, for those just learning about Islam, Aisha was 19 when she married the prophet.

If you think that a man who had 13 wives and over 30 concubines is an ideal role model for his children, then, in your opinion, he would have been that.

If you think that a man who was a Mass Murderer is an ideal role model for his children, then, in your opinion, he would have been that.

If you think that man who made his Allah become the supplier of his women in his pretending to be Allah speaking through his lips is an ideal role model for his children, then, in your opinion, he would have been that.

Maybe our opinions would differ, because in my honest opinion, such a man is not the ideal role model for anyone.

A good role model for fathers????

Lets see... he had sex with a 9 year old girl. As a father I would be repulsed by this act - why are muslims agreeable on it?

He had people killed because they.... made fun of him....

He raped innocent women... oh sure you could say it was due to spoils of war..... but the people he attacked were defensless and never initiated war...

Seriously... a tribe three days walk away from Mohammad command center that has no defence is a threat to Mohammad with his ten thousand army????? Really....

He was a sick man ....

Source(s): @Google... she was 6 at the time of marriage.... It is recorded in the Koran - are you that much of an idiot??? And had sex with her at age 9.... you f*ckup liar!!

    I hope you are kidding.

He was a monster who only cared about himself and not a role model for anyone.

YOU DECIDE .... I THINK HE WAS A PEDOPHILE

Can Muslims answer my answers to their false arguments ?

FALSE ARGUMENT 1 - THIS IS NOT TRUE THIS IS A MISCONCEPTION SPREAD BY NON MUSLIMS

My Answer : It is shocking to see that what Muslims refer to as misconceptions are actually the 6 major books on Hadiths. THESE BOOKS are the sources

A – Sahih bukhari Book–Most Muslims view this 9 volume Book as their most trusted collection of Hadith and it has been called "The most authentic book after the Qur'an. Sahih Bukhari is the work of over 16 and covers almost all aspects of life in providing proper guidance of Islam. Before writing any Hadith in this book the author asked guidance from Allah. Then he would do the necessary research and investigation, observing if the particular Hadith fits in to his strict criteria of authenticity and if he is sure that the Hadith is authentic, he wrote it in the book.

B – Sahih muslim Book - It is the second most famous Hadith collection among Muslims and it is considered as the most authentic book of Hadith after Sahih Al-Bukhari. Each report in this collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur'an. , and the veracity of the chain of reporters had to be painstakingly established. But Muslims mischeviously say that this book contradicts the Koran.

C - Sunan abu da'ud book – Another part of this series of 6 books, but some Muslims say that some Hadiths here are unauthentic, which makes his book different from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. In other words, all Muslims universally consider them authentic.

FALSE ARGUMENT 2 - CONTRADICTIONS WITH THE QURAN

Muslims say that there is no part said in the Qura'an that a minor girl can be married with major man. Any statement which is contradicting to Qura'an can not be taken as a preferred one.

My Answer - The Koran did not specifically say that Muhamad DID NOT MARRY Ayesha, so if another extremely Holy Book says so, there is no contradiction.

    FALSE ARGUMENT 3 - A CHILD REACHING PUBERTY –

Muslims say – “Can any body prove that a 9-10 year girl old girl can not reach to her maturity age. Prove it scientificaly?”

Muslims say “It’s a fact that female menstruation in hot climates starts much earlier than in cold climates, so females in Arabia matured as early as 8 or 9; they also aged earlier than other women.”

My Answer - . So what if a kid matures early. The thought of a 55 year old man becoming aroused by a 10 year old child is one of the most disturbing thoughts that makes us cringe as it reminds us of pedophilia and the most despicable people.

FALSE ARGUMENT 4 - THE PROPHETS MARRIAGE TO A 40 YEAR OLD LADY

Muslims say – “ pedophile has no meaning as a 25 years unmarried pedophile can not go for his first marriage with a 40 years lady.”

My Answer : That is an illogical argument as most pedophiles are married to mature ladies.

FALSE ARGUMENT 5 - MARRYING VERSUS RAPING A 10 YEAR OLD GIRL. –

Muslims have made this shocking statement in an earlier post ( I can send the post by email to anybody ) that "marrying a ten year old girl is better or raping a 10 year old girl”

My Answer : That is a shameful argument – I should rest my case here itself, but there is more to come.

FALSE ARGUMENT 6 - TRAVELLING BACK 1400 YEARS IN TIME

Muslims say “social traditions …….. considered Arab females as women as soon as their menstrual cycles began. The custom was to give daughters in marriage at that age.”

My Answer : Many Muslims have this argument to state that what the Prophet did was custom. But does a prophet not need to have a higher standard. Is a Prophet not supposed to improve the world ? What’s the point in being a Prophet then ?

FALSE ARGUMENT 7 - AISHA WAS EARLIER MARRIED TO AN INFIDEL

Muslims say “It’s a neglected fact that before she was married to Muhammad, `A’ishah had been engaged to an infidel, Jubair ibn Mus’ab ibn Ady. Her fiancé broke the engagement on the basis of religious difference. So her father, Abu Bakr, agreed to give her hand in marriage to the Prophet.”

My Answer – …………just because she her marriage to an infidel broke up ? So was the Prophet doing her a favour ?

FALSE ARGUMENT 8 - AISHA WAS A LEARNED WOMAN IN ISLAMIC HISTORY

Muslims say Aisha came from a learned house, had a young, intelligent, receptive mind, later she taught thousands of men worldwide, and is considered among the most prominent Islamic scholars.

My Answer – That fact is irrelevant to Child marriage.

    TO WRAP IT ALL UP

I have a feeling that Muslims are uncomfortably aware of what your prophet was up to so you puts up wrong arguments. This is the habit of Muslim apologists, because, in their heart of hearts, thaaey know the sick truth.
