Is Dodge Neon related to new Dodge Dart?

I am such a big fan of a neon but I wonder if that related to a neon :D Curiosity

    No, it's based on a widened, lengthened Fiat/Alfa Romeo platform, see http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/dart/

    The only way they are related is by the Dodge name. The Dodge Dart is based on the Alfa Romeo platform.
