How do you eat peas, the correct way or the sensible way?
Do you stick to etiquette and mash them on the back of your fork or do you use a spoon to place them in your mouth intact and enjoy the full flavour and texture of them.
I do the latter no matter where I am eating.
I do the same with sweetcorn as well.

This is a very important and serious art.
The Correct way to eat peas is...
Fist, align your peas into a neat pile using both your knife and fork
Next, delecately scoop some peas onto your fork using your knife and fork
then, Sit up straight and apply peas to your mouth
When you have you peas suitably places in your mouth, make sure it is shut and chew. Feel free to mash them up and squish them between your teeth into a pulp aslong as noone can see your peas as they turn into a bogie like substance.
then, when your peas are well and truely chewed, Swallow them and repeat steps.
And that my friend in to correct way to eat peas.

I don't think I've even seen anyone eat peas by mashing them (definitely never knew that was etiquette). In my family, we use a fork and either spear them, or scoop them depending on preference.

If you wish to be really correct, it doesn't matter how you eat them as if you were anywhere where it did matter they wouldn't serve peas anyway.
