1994, Papa Doc leaving the country? Really? You know wikipedia has many pages on Haiti's I recommend you spend some time going through them you will find a lot of useful information there.

You dont actually mean Haiti has electricity.,back in 1994! I dont know.Would it have been an earth quake? a developing society such as Haiti would be hit bad by natural disasters.
