I'm trying to remember the name of a book where a guy buys a lifelike robot and names it Danny One,?

The book was oriented towards teens I think; does anyone remember what the title might have been from my description?

My Robot Buddy (Robot Buddy series) by Alfred H Slote

"Slote's five book series shows the life of Jack Jameson and his robot buddy Danny One as they have adventures in a future society that has developed androids that mimic human beings perfectly and has space transportation via cryonics"

"On Jack's tenth birthday, his parents give him just what he wants - a robot. The robot's name is Danny One, and he looks just like Jack, except for his stiff-in-the-knees robot walk. He can do everything Jack can do, from fourth-grade math to fishing, and much more besides. It's a good thing too, because Jack needs all the help he can get in order to foil an evil robotnapper"
