How Can I Convert These Files?
Need some help please!
I recently torrented a TV show season so i could watch all of it in HD and not have any pop ups like on the websites i view it on. However, i also want to make videos with these episodes. I have final cut pro X and they cannot be imported.
In the info it says it is a 'matroska video file'? i have never come across this before. It plays with VLC if that helps with anything? I downloaded it from Pirate Bay and used uTorrent.
So, what i am trying to say is how can i convert these files so i can edit them on Final Cut Pro X?
Thank you in advance, and if you need any more info, just ask and i will tell you.
Oh and please don't call me stupid or dumb as i am not familiar with doing this kind of process! So please be content!

download and open Vuze and turn on device playback... drag the video to it and it will transcode the file into mp4. This can be used in most software applications.
If you had a networked console like Xbox or PlayStation you can watch these movies right on your TV from Vuze.

Try www.zamzar.com, you might have to register to convert large files though. Make sure you know what type of files they need to be.
