is it illegal to run away from with your parents car?
Im 19 and i want to run away from my moms house to live with my father. When i was 17 my mother bought me a car...and i kind of want to take it with me. The car is under her name. insurance everything is in her name. Would it be illegal for me to take the car?
Once in the past she did tell me "if anything were to happen I gave you that car and it is yours." Would that count as permission?

If the car is registered in her name, it is legally hers and you can't take it without permission.

If everything is in her name then it's hers. Take the bus if your dead set on going to live with your Father or have him pick you up.
