I need to make a Java program that tests out my processors speed?
Does Java have a way of finding out the speed of the processor or must I improvise with huge numbers and them trying to measure the time it took to perform a calculation with them? If there is a way how could I do it? Code description would be appreciated!

I do know that they use Java in stress testing of processors/graphics cards. However, extremely complicated algorithms are used for this. Doing mathematical calculations and recording the time it takes isn't feasible because it would, obviously, be the processor that would be doing the timing. xD Regardless, that doesn't seem like a very effective method.
Why do you need this?

To be honest with you my friend the one way your going to run this test safely is to surely test computers with older processors! So should you do a test on yours along with your processor and then attempt to go to a laptop store and see if they may be able to experiment it on one in all their historical processors after which ask them to alter processor and scan on a brand new one or if u know associates with ancient and company new processors can scan with them, platform wouldnt topic, that you can scan on diff structures, so if you get a mac version of your program or a home windows version simply use them on different machines, make a remark of the processor they use however one factor you must make certain is that ram is the same on all techniques to make it correct and unbiased
