What is Phoenix AZ weather like in Mid-July to Mid-August and the beginning of October?
I plan on going either around mid-july to mid-august or sometime in the beginning of October. Can you tell me what the weather is like during both seasons? And what is there for fun to do in Phoenix if you are staying for around a week or so?

JUly to mid August is still very hot and dry, but starting in late JUly and extending into late September we get the "summer monsoon" where humid weather rolls in from the south Sea of Cortez (that bit of water between Bja California and the main part of Mexico). The monsoon season gets really hot as well as humid and there are often massive thunderstorns and dust storms. Some are quite spectacular to watch.
October is a very pleasant time of year down here with highs in them90s and overnight lows in the 70s, and usually dry weather.

The Monsoons might be a blessing in disquise for a person playing a game. There's ample warning when a storm is coming. Simply open your eyes and appear at the sky for starters. The blessing comes when it's 114 degrees and a Monsoon rain passes and the temp drops to seventy four! I was once playing golf at Estrella Mountain and that is precisely what occurred. My spouse and i drove house with the windows down and concept we were in San Diego. It was so cool.
