Storage. Lots of storage. I don't have a link, but can tell you what I have in my craft/sewing room that works for me.

A rather large work table 4' x 3' that is plain old wood, so doesn't matter if I scratch it, or get paint on it.

An 8" deep bookshelf, great for storing fabrics

    A chest of drawers

    A cart with 8 colorful plastic drawers 10' x 14" and about 3" deep

    A small table 24" x 16" with a drawer and two shelves

One of those things with small drawers you usually see in a garage with nuts and bolts in it, great for small items

    An ironing board and iron

A couple of hooks on the wall for a yardstick, and a cutting mat

    A corkboard for notes

    A waste basket

A basket for fabric scraps saved for making quilts

An armless office chair for sewing that's easy to get into and out of with your hands full

I have my sewing machine on one corner of my work table, because I do use it to make quilts, and the large area is necessary

One more very important thing is a good light for the work area. In addition to the overhead light, I have one of those tall adjustable arm lamps with a magnifying glass on it clamped to one end of my work table.

She will need to have room at a sewing table for her machine and if there is space enough, a nice long table for cutting and laying out material. Her sewing table can be made out of just about anything (old door, counter top, proper table/top) but should be a comfortable height for her to work and can be held up on small shelves which help with storage of threads/patterns/books that are needed to be on hand. I personally prefer a storage unit with shelves and doors on it for material so no dust gets on the fabric and it just looks tidy. If she uses a board for layouts, then a corkboard or white board can be added to the walls...the most important thing when doing crafts is lighting...lots of it at different angles is a must. The handiest kind of chair for her would be one that is height adjustable and very comfortable for when she is working extended periods of time.
