Is there anything you learned in the school playground?

My parents taught me how to recite my full name. But on my first day at school when other children asked me , and I gave my middle name, they thought I was being funny! So the first thing I learned at school, was just to give my 1st and last name when asked.

[I have a conventional middle name.]

Update:

Thanks for the answers. I agree middle names don't serve a purpose, but most parents feel they 'have' to give their child one. I only use mine on official forms.

On the playground, I learned that it hurts when you get your leg stuck between metal bars. Your full name IS only your first and last name. Nobody cares about middle names, and they don't have a purpose. But getting my leg stuck, what a great class picture. (Sarcasm)

I learned that if someone challenges you to a fight - even if you know you're going to lose, you mustn't ever back down. if you do then all the other boys will call you chicken
