Looking for an easy Japanese cookbook.?

I am just starting to learn more about cooking. I would like a very easy Japanese cookbook. I want to learn how to make simple dishes. I am looking online but would also like a source I can flip through.

Update:

Thanks for the links to the websites. I would really like to get info an an actual book that I can hold. Any ideas?

I'd been married with a Japanese guy for a year now. Since I came here, cooking Japanese dishes to suit his taste was my main problem. Until I found "Cooking with Dog". It's a youtube channel with a variety of simple Japanese dishes. The measurements of ingredients are very accurate. Easy preparation as well. My husband can't help smiling everytime I serve him those dishes. Now I can experiment my own dishes with the basics I learned from them.

It would be essential to have the recipes with lists of ingredients (maybe with those ingredients cross-referenced in the index) toghether with prep and cooking details. I think what would be unique and is not usually seen is a list of the partial proteins that the dish provides. That would let someone preparing a menu see what to serve with the meal so that it totals up to the same complete protein that a non-vegetarian would get. I think what would NOT be useful, but is very common, would be a harangue on the moral benefits of eating vegetarian meals.

    Cooking with Dog is amazing!

For a good book to use though I would recommend 'Hashi' by Reiko Hashimoto:

    Or anything by Harumi Kurihara
