does he like me? please help?

There's this guy in my 6th period class and he's really nice and stuff. I have to give background info and this will be LONG so yeah hehe

My Twinnie (Best friend we are almost exactly alike except in appearances she's white and im

black) used to like him. She likes this guy whose name started with ''J'' but then he dated a girl and so she lost interest in him and she liked the guy I currently like now. Now she likes ''J'' again but she got me and my crush knowing each other. So now she doesn't like my crush anymore but I do.

Anyways he's really nice to me and funny and really witty! He makes me laugh and stuff but I feel as if he's sending mixed signals. There's this other girl that people are saying he likes (and people are saying she likes him) and at a dance she and her friends were all around him and talking about boys and stuff. I just don't want to make a move that will leave me regretting it for the whole year and makes me feel uncomfortable with him. This has kind of happened before with others. Like the other day he sat behind me and class and started talking to my friend Allen and he since he was behind me (we are supposed to sit next to each other but we don't need to sit in assigned seats) and he pulled my chair closer to him. Does that mean anything??? And also when he was sitting next to my friend Allen he said in a LOUD voice on purpose (he does these sort of things) ''NO ALLEN I WILL NOT ASK S****a out for you'' (My name is in the stars) And Allen's like ''No I never said that.'' Does this mean anything at all? (I know allen didn't say that) and he's always trying to get my attention. And we have a wheel class together which means every grading period we switch classrooms together. So now we have music and since we were sitting side by side there was a stand in the middle of us and so he took it and I put my stuff on it and he put his stuff on it and we were sharing the stand and he moved our stuff closer. It's like he's sending mixed signals and I don't want to regret anything. Also there is this famous guy named which he has the same first name for and like in class I was talking to my friend and she's like ''Hey ***n S****a likes you!'' and I'm like No they have different last names and she's like whats your last name and he says the same last name as the famous person and then I ask him to spell the lastname since I know he's lying and then he just smiles and winks at me? And once at this dance my other friend went up to him and said that I liked him and he was like eww she's ugly... ?? and he usually does this in class with his fake voice. Like he has this loud obnoxious voice when he's lying and trying to get attention and he calls me ugly and eww and I'm just left looking clueless... It's confusing! I don't like being lead on like this and I'd like to know if he's playing with me and to just move on. I also think he doesn't admit he likes me cause of our ethnic backgrounds since he's Jewish and I'm from the Carribean . I'm just really confused....

Also once he asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said no why and he said cause I think your hot... (that was b4 I liked hima nd that was when my twinnie liked him) and then he told his friend Robby what he told me and then told me he didn't like me.

Also the other day we were in the auditorium (only our class) and most of the class sat on the left but I wanted to be alone to read so I went to sit in the middle and then he and his friend Robby were pointing at me and then they came to sit in the middle but a few rows up since I was near the bottom and then my friend Allen came up to sit next to me to ask why I was sitting alone and then My crush and his friend robby were pointing at us saying OLALA LOOK AT THE MARRIED COUPLE! WHEN IS THE HONEYMOON? And I just ignored him. What does this all mean?? And thanks for the answers!

Also when I told this guy I got into advanced chorus the guy i like said who cares you can't sing....

It's like he's rude on purpose but tries to get my attention.
