I’m not aware that global warming scientists are saying everyone is going to move to a city. I’m one of those scientists myself (a climatologist) and it’s not something I’ve come across. I don’t know if it makes any difference, we live in the country and have no intention of moving to a city. Used to live in London, couldn’t get away quick enough.
Climate change is forcing some people to relocate, mainly in Africa and Asia, this is usually because their lands have turned to desert, crops have failed and/or water sources have dried up. Millions have already left their family and ancestral lands and many of them make their way to the cities. Migration to cities is common practice for refugees in many situations, not just as a consequence of climate change.
People who live in cities tend to have a smaller environmental impact than those who live in the country. This is for a variety of reasons including reduced travel, lower fuel consumption, smaller properties, reduced infrastructure demands, greater sharing of amenities and provisions etc.
But people who live in cities also have a lower quality of life, are more prone to diseases and illnesses and have shorter life expectancies.

It has nothing to do with global warming scientists. Most of the people with the predictions of increasing urbanization have nothing to do with global warming. And they don't expect everyone to move to the city. They are just predicting that based on current movements of people, jobs, etc, that a larger and larger percentage of people will live in cities.

Well as gas prices continue to rise and fossil fuels start to run out , it may not be affordable to live out in the country. Unless we start working towards electric cars and what not..but very quickly.
This has some ties to global warming but not a lot.

I think you have it a little wrong. Scientists don't think everyone is going to move to a city. They say that there is currently a trend that many people are moving to cities.

That's nice. Now what does that say about the global trends? Which have nothing to do with global warming in this respect, but really urbanization has been increasing.

It looks to me like they want people in a confined area because they are antihuman and believe man is destructive to the Earth.
