Same thing happened to me. The code is in the volvo booklet that usually sits in the glove compartment. Should be 4 digits if im correct.

You could be a thief who has just stolen the radio. If you're really the owner then consider how you'd feel if someone stole the radio from your car and then sold it because they'd got the security code from Yahoo Answers. Be honest, do you really think that anyone could tell you the radio security code just from the car's registration number? If they could then it wouldn't be much of a security code. It will be written in the car's radio instruction manual that you should have got when you bought the car. If you don't have this then go to a Volvo main dealer and after they've checked that you are the real owner they'll get the code number for you.

well again like a lot of FORD products i bet you didn't know that, they tag the radio code to the cars registration before it is delivered to the customer and record it on a database so a phone call to any volvo dealer should produce a result. but being an expensive car like a volvo expect to pay for it so have a debt or credit card available.

The only way to get the code is to visit your local Volvo dealer. You have to prove you own the car.

If you cannot find it in the vehicle documents then a Volvo dealer is the only way to get it.
