PS3 surround sound no longer works with Lovefilm or Youtube?
When using my Playstation 3 with the surround sound I only seem to get full 5.1 whilst playing the games. If I use the system to play lovefilm or youtube clips the sound will only play stereo with only the front two speakers working. I wouldn't mind it so much but the subwoofer also gets excluded so it leaves music and films sounding a bit flat. I've had it working before but since I discounted it to move it to my new house it doesn't seem to want to work.
I'm using a samsung AH64-04896 Home Theatre system, hooked up to the PS3 via an Digital Optical output cable. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe those websites only transmit in stereo. It has nothing to do with the PS3 or the Samsung

The only program you need if you can't watch videos or if you see a black screen is Adobe Flash Player. It's a necessary plug-in that allows you to reproduce videos online.
