I need help picking an audition song for a musical. Any helpers?

You could try "I Speak Six Languages" from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I'm not completely familiar with Seussical, but from what I understand, Gertrude is quite a character. So you might want to do a song that's not only in the range, but something that shows off a bit of acting chops with it. For example, "Woe Is Me", also from Putnam County Spelling Bee or "My New Philosophy" from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. There are also songs like "Somewhere That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors or "Adelaide's Lament" from Guys and Dolls, both of which are slower but definitely good acting pieces.
