What was your Finals predication from the start of the following?

1. West champ over Miami because in my opinion the west has better teams than the east in general.

As for Chicago, even if Rose was healthy the Bulls wouldn't make it to, or in the finals. They are a fragile team, losing to teams they shouldn't be losing to. I think they averaged 7 wins and 3 losses every 10 games or so. The inability to put their foot down for those 3 games and push out victories is denying them championships. Miami is really the only true championship contender for the east not because of all the superstars on the team but because they actually want to win championships unlike other eastern teams who play like they don't care during most of the regular season.

2. I would say Spurs for the west over Miami for the same reasons as last years Dallas over Miami. You can tell that the Spurs actually wanted it because they didn't throw away easy games during the regular season and had great win streaks showing that they have the mindset to grind out victories.

3. Spurs over Miami. Many once great Western teams have gone soft thus making the Spurs and OKC the two powerful teams of the west. The Lakers are a good example. Over the years they slowly downgraded until the point that most of the team members that had the drive to win championships are either retired or have been traded. A wishy washy Gasol replacing a dominant Shaq and Fisher going to OKC, for example.

4. The last one is the one I predicted except the refs gave game 2 to the Heat.

If the Thunder want to win they have to win 5 of 7 now. They already won 2 except only 1 counted. The Heat only need to win 3 of 7 to win in the finals, they won 2 and were given the third. I still say it would be Thunder over Heat if the refs knew what they were doing.
