If OKC loses this series, how long will it take them to win their first title?

IF, I repeat IF, they lose this series, will they come back to win next year or will it take them longer to win a title?

The things that goes in OKC favor is they do have a superstar in Durant and perhaps two superstar with Westbrook and they are both young, so I think with that being said it will only be a matter of time.

Now that I have said that, the Thunder might very well be without Ibaka or Harden who both are instrumental to the Thunder success and also when team lose like the Thunder did the last 3 games then othe teams try to pick up why the Thunder loss and try to do what the Heat did, in other words, if the Thunder lose this series then next year teams will look at what The Heat did that was successful for them against the Thunder and try to do what they did. Basically the Heat are giving a blue print on how to beat the Thunders.Dallas could have on two games against the Thunders and the Lakers could have won 2 more games if they could have controlled the game and if The Spurs could have held on then maybe the Thunder would not be here right now. And last, I think Westbrook will try to be the man in OKC and maybe two batman will not work because Westbrook show us that he can score as easily as Durant and I expect him not to take a backseat to Durant and perhaps this will mess up their chemistry.

In any case, their youth is on their side but other teams like the Clippers wll be better, The Spurs will work more on their defense, Kobe and the Lakers with their two 7 footers should be in the mix so it is not automatic for OKC to be back here next year, I think they will but a lot of things can make it not happen

Not long at all. They're superstars are 24 and younger. Most of their players are actually,. They'll be back in the Finals next year most likely unless the Lakers, Mavs, Spurs pull a rabbit out of the Hat like they've been known to do in years past. It wont be easy, but they are a great team, very young, very good.

Kevin Durant is 23 I think

    Westbrook is 22.

    Ibaka is 23

Only Collison and Fisher and Perkins are the true veterans on the squad.,:P

    They are here to stay.

It's not a easy task making it to the finals. I expect them to get pretty far in the playoffs next year, maybe not necessarily the finals, which really depends on how the teams end up in the west next year. They have some great talent there though, but maybe a bit too young, they need some more experience

i might say OKC gained it. They went into San Antonio and gained a sport, that's hard to do. They have been purely clicking on all cyclinders, and San Antonio purely could no longer incorporate them.
