[MTG] -Ruling Question about SoulBond-?
Soulbond (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)
Let's assume my opponent have a guy (A) with this ability, and he just casted a guy (B) without this ability and it ETB.
Is this a triggered ability?
If my opponent chooses to soulbond (A) and (B), can I respond to it at instant speed using the stack?

Yes, it's a triggered ability.
You can sort of respond to it. You can always respond to the soulbond trigger, however note that the choice of whether or not to pair two creatures is made as the ability resolves. That means that if you want to respond to it, you have to do so before knowing whether or not your opponent intends to pair the creatures. Once you let them decide, it's too late to do anything about it.
As always, though, if your opponent rushes ahead without giving you the chance to respond, you have the right to back things up (and your opponent just gave you some free information to boot).

1. Soulbond is a trigger, yes.
2. Well, that's where it gets more tricky, since the general rule is tournament level based on play. For example if your opponent casts a spell, and you have a counter in hand, and you ask who he's soulbonding it too, it's assumed you've let it resolve. So no counter for you. If your opponent says "Soulbonding to" as part of casting it, then you can say "Nah-uh, I'm responding to your casting by shocking Z" though they can however, be allowed to choose another creature, depending on the REL.
