that was the episode tomorrow is yesterday. its revealed that a planet of feminists (off screen) thought the enterprises computer needed a feminine personality

don't know which episode it is. the part about referring to kirk as dear sounds familiar. but my response is to your description of the computer taking on a feminine sounding voice. when these are shown across the pond do they change that much. the enterprise always had a feminine sounding voice. Majel Barrett, Gene Roddenberry's wife, did the voice of the computer.
