I have a G2 Ontario driver's license and am moving to Alberta...?

I was wondering, if I wanted to exchange my ontario driver's license to an Alberta license, what kind of Alberta license will I be able to get?

will it make a difference if I get a G license here, or do I not need to take the test?

    Whatever restrictions are on your Ontario licence will be in effect out here
