Are you kidding me amazon?
I ordered a DVD from amazon today, and it says it will be here by the 2nd of July... The only problem is that Its being shipped from Boston, to where I live.. In Rhode Island! Is it really going to take a week?

That's why they call them ESTIMATED delivery dates.
And this has nothing to do with Amazon. Once they put the DVD in the mail, it's completely out of their hands. It's up to the Post Office. All Amazon can do is give you an APPROXIMATE date.
You may get it earlier. You'll just have to wait and see.

I'm afraid so! Although if hasn't been shipped yet cancel your order get amazon Prime which is free! Then choose the shorter amount of Business days. It will take about three days

Yeah. But it should be no more than 3 days in actuality. See, it may not be sold directly by Amazon but from a shop hosted by them who may have different policies regarding deliveries.
