The Calgary Flames did not give Blake Comeau a qualifying offer effectively making him a UFA.?
He scored 5 goals and added 10 assists in 58 games last year and was paid 2.5 million. I think the stategy is to now sign Comeau as a UFA at a much reduced salary, say 1 million. What do you think?

Blake Comeau to me is a healthy scratch maybe fourth liner and if they can get him for inbetween 900k-1mil then go for it anything more Flames should just get forget about signing Comeau

Good for Calgary. Having Comeau in the lineup isn't a bad thing, but not at 2.5 million. If he goes somewhere else, so be it, not a huge loss.
