the only thing the iPhone has is the "it factor" for apple fans, really its not even close in comparison to most other phones out currently.

Samsung has surpassed the power of Apple since they released their Samsung Galaxy S2 earlier last year. The most powerful iPhone, the 4S, only has a 1 Ghz dual-core processor, whereas the Samsung Galaxy s2 has a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor, just offering a lit bit more power/speed at everything. Now speaking of the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S3, it is far more powerful than the iPhone 4S. The S3 comes with a whopping 1.4 Ghz Quad-Core processor. It has innovative features too, like the front-facing camera which knows when you are looking at the screen and accordingly it'll switch off or on. Besides, Samsung produce top mobile phones currently and are officially ranked 1st. I would suggest you go for the Samsung Galaxy S3, or just wait and see what the "yet to be released" iPhone 5 will offer sometime this autumn.

You could still however buy the S2, because it is reliable according to several users, and was last years award-winning smartphone. We don't know how reliable the S3 is yet, since it has only been released a month ago and the amount of reviews so far won't really give us a clear indication until some time has passed. The S2 is still is an astonishing device, since it is probably the best top range all-rounder we all know of. Besides, since the release of the s3, the s2 has become cheaper for both, contract and pay as you go customers. The S2 was UK's favourite smartphone last year.

Currently S3 is better than the best iPhone. However it is only a matter of time before the iPhone 5 comes out and retakes its place on the smartphone throne.

On mine the Iphone 3GS 8Gb 3.15 Mp camera that has NO FLASH is commanding tariffs that match those of the 2011 multi award winnings SGS 2 (I9100) which the iPhone 4S is considered its peer (it is not)

If, if, and that's a BIG if the iPhone 5 came in with EXACTLY the same specs as the SGS III do you really expect it to have the same tariffs as the SGS III ?

Reality check Andrew, the IPhone 4s on my network have HIGHER tariffs than BOTH the SGS III and SGS 2, its wait for the iphone but on tariffs cost (silence)

Forget about these phones? Moto Razor HD launches a new phone that stocks experience is the way. Big battery, Kevlar back, better speakers (like all Motorola devices), not the button on the front (ICS is an all-screen navigation system), not to mention the great call quality and Motorola's LTE is available almost anywhere in Verizon. Buying samsung galaxy S3 so early is not at all a good idea. Wait for few months and then you can plan buying S3. So that you will not have any reason to regret later. Check for user reviews and then you buy S3.

Samsung gs3 definitely. Seriously I've used them both. Samsung is miles better.
