whats your view on moods/energy affecting things around you...............?

.......obviously this q is more directed at those who believe in that kinda thing and not those who dont, but hey if you dont and wanna chip in with a good argument why its not true, cool

Update:

to clarify, by moods/energy i mean your own mood/energy, and do you think that can affect your day etc

Update 2:

Me too finn, its actually why I asked this, my condition has kinda ‘mood swings’

I notice that my mood doesn’t affect me as much but things around me seem to ‘gro wrong’

what if its not a mistake rama,

what if its just a circumstance/or like the conditions that affect moods etc?

Update 3:

"Anything undisclosed, or a lie, can create a major mood shift."

interesting, so do you think that can create more of a noticible impact than positive things bb?

Update 4:

" if you do things secretly inside it is no different than doing it for real."

i find it more intresting that you also mention that aspect claptic

Update 5:

its the magnetisim issue that im asking this about actually, i believe in the ability to attract and give off energy, thats why i asked this, but i know that when it happens to me im not doing anything 'secret' or lying, so does that imply that other people who are can affect you , maybe at a time when your vulnerable?

what do you guys think?

Update 6:

well, its both finn, its always both (thats my y/a answers motto :-D )

its you AND everyone else, and that seems supported from what i just picked up from these answers and realised is that the idea that its your negativity thats causing you problems might not be the ONLY aspect here

so youve got a condition that makes you 'vulnerable' to having negativity around you, but maybe it also makes you vulnerable to OTHER peoples negativity

i love it when i get new thoughts from here, THIS is why i still come here, you guys :-)

Update 7:

that would explain a lot of what happens around my pmdd, and why these weird not so positive things have happend in the last few days

Most often than not, I am the one who gets affected by the energy/moods that surround me rather than I am the one who affects my surroundings... I get easily drained and exhausted when people around me are too noisy and energetic... but that's ok, maybe they are just having fun but I refuse to participate so I stay away slowly and unnoticed to recharge... I can adapt to anyone's moods when needed and I treat each person's moods/energy differently but there are times that I cannot tolerate and I do not have to... In such cases, I politely excuse myself... I do not take home the negative energies I have gathered outside, I leave them by the door... take a shower then prepare a good meal... I am not aware how my own mood/energies affects my surroundings... I am not a very energetic person but once I leave the house, I make sure I carry my smile with me and give it to anyone who needs it... It doesn't matter if I had a horrible nightmare last night or my mind is infested with worries because for me, those people I am about to meet outside have nothing to do with them and they deserve to be greeted with fresh perspectives...

We pick up the energetic feelings of everything and everyone around us. The more awake and aware we are the more we notice.

Weather can change a mood, other people's attitudes can change a mood, and deceit is a biggie. Anything undisclosed, or a lie, can create a major mood shift.

The talent to remaining calm and serene, is in the learning. You have to know what is you and what is them. Stay open, and consider why your mood has altered. Do whatever it takes to find your inner place of peace, and if it requires being alone or whatever...just do that.

Ensure you remain the calm in the storm, and in so doing you will come to see how not to fuel the fire.

I have a condition that affects my moods, for which I do take medication. Sometimes I do need to stop and ask myself 'is it me or everyone else?' When its clear to me, then this has a huge effect on everything around me. There are times when the energy and mood is high and I am in a zone where all is clear and understood, I can't put a foot wrong. It's difficult though as this can all too easily become something else. Things can start to fall apart quickly as fatigue and chaos begin to dance around each other and the inevitable appears on the horizon. I think it is the same for most folk though, mood and energy go hand in hand and create something that feeds in to all around us. Its important I think to keep these things in mind not just for our own day but for others too

    additional;

I know what you mean about things going wrong. That question "is it me or everyone else?" has been in my mind all day today along with "what is wrong with these people?" Its very clear and simple to me, apparently not so with those I work with.......Sometimes it is as though everything turns to sand but, for today, it is everyone else!!!! ;-)

    ADDITIONAL:

I have noticed some times about those that appear to be attracted (not in the romantic sense) to a mood I'm experiencing. There are times when complete strangers will disclose the oddest of things (careful now) Of course in a good mood the whole world wants to join in and have fun.On the other hand there are days when its feels as though the whole world (or everyone I talk to) is on a huge downer and you can't help think that the world is a depressing place to listen in (if you know what I mean) "God they are all depressed!!!" Upon reflection of these moments.........Is it me or them??? Its STILL Them!!! Ok and me sometimes. Thing is, I have to realise I don't have the power over any one else and If I'm feeling or experiencing a certain mood then it does have an effect on all of my world and those who engage with it. I will have to admit that if I'm feeling anxious or down there are those that will give me a wide berth because of the energy that is being given out

We are bio-chemically magnetic. We attract and we repel just like magnets do. The principle is no different. Our hearts are electrical impulses and thus the magnetism. So if you sprinkle iron filings around a magnet, they all line up in a pattern around it. With us it is the same but our iron filings are our aura. When our magnetism is disrupted or 'off kilter' you better believe it will affect everyone around us, like in the same room. But since we share electrons, it is not unreasonable to think we can affect someone on the other side of the world. True meditation creates a field around you that will protect you and others... like you are carrying a big comforter. It will weaken as the day goes on but can be revitalized continually depending on your discipline of mind and attachments to Matter.

Consider this: lust is a deed done in Darkness and is thought not to affect the recipient. One day it might become visibly evident that it is annihilating the soul (power of affirmation) of the luster and pummeling the recipient with damaging negative energy. This I believe is why Jesus made it clear that if you do things secretly inside it is no different than doing it for real.

if you stay below the water you will feel different than if you stayed on the surface or above the water.. however, if you are not artificially renounced you will feel more 'where you are at' than if you weren't..

aside from all that.. we all make mistakes. and God has it's own way to show us, that we made a mistake..

i live at the same house, doing the same sort of things with a few more people. each of us feels different.. each of us has different Karma. one is upset with neighbor's noise, the other gets cuts from a broken piece of glass and the last, can't sleep all night.. each different than the other..

Edit: when not a mistake, it is called Paramatma.. it is important as you know the truth personally by watching what happens around you when you have just come across a new method of meditation for instance. that is how many of us continue to meditate or get advanced.. how else are you going to know personally that 'this is the true way'? when i started showing interest in meditation, i didn't know which is the true way... and just by noticing the energies around me, i believed. let's say you have been told that ' if you offered your food before you ate it to God in a certain way, that food becomes spiritualized or becomes what's called persadam.. now if you offered some milk sincerely and put it out for wild cats and saw strange re-actions in cats, for instance if they gently got attracted to it unlike ordinary days, then you would wonder, don't you?' :)

If I am suffering from something, there is a good chance something or someone is suffering from the same. I think pets can detect my general moods and are thereby affected by my moods.

This si called environmentalism. if people in english speaking countries would learn what the word environ-mental really means they would have a better understanding of their "environ". "Environ", is french and has the same meaning as the way we use the word environmental. However the way we use the word environmental is incorrect.

Environmental, is a compound word, comprised of the two words, environ-mental. Environ is our surroundings (the fishbowl syndrome, and "MENTAL" refers to the ideologies of the mind. YOUR QUESTION therefore, is simply the definition of the word 'environ-MENTAL".

Therefore, the answer is my 'ENVIRON" sucks", and this makes me extremely MENTAL.

I believe how you respond to things is because of how you are feeling and what's in your head. Anyone can have a good day whether things went their way or not.
