How do I build a crafting table in Minecraft?
I'm new to Minecraft, so I started out by chopping down some trees for wood. When I go into my inventory and try to drag the wood to craft it into wood panels, the wood just moves back into the "use" row. I've tried many times to drag the wood but it keeps going into the "use" row. Please help!
The problem isn't that I don't know HOW to make a crafting table, it's that when I'm in my inventory i can't drag things into the crafting squares.

right clicking the wood u take directly from trees turns it into planks or something. Then a plank in each slot makes a crafting table.

5 things: 1. dont use minecraft pocket edition lite. none of your worlds will save. 2. you can only craft things in survival mode. 3. in survival mode, what you first need to do is mine a bunch of wood. 4. then click on the box with three white dots and scroll down the inventory list until you come upon wooden planks. 5. make wooden planks (at least four) and then scroll up and make a crafting table.

Make sure you aren't holding shift! This might be causing the problem. :3
