can a landlord have a tenant arrested.?

a tenant keeps defacing or removing the rules sign the landlord puts up because he doesn't like them

    If the landlord can prove who is doing it, they can press charges against them for "defacing property". It would go to court and the tenant would have to pay for damages. The landlord would possible have the right to have the tenant evicted. The tenant would probably not actually be "arrested" or actually go to jail unless they refused to pay the damages.

    He can report the vandalism, yes. If the police choose to arrest the person, they arrest them.

    No, not for that. However, he can sue for vandalism.
