I effed up my my freshman year and I am currently effing up my freshman summer. Can I start again?

I really didnt make friends till the way end of the year. I don't really communicate with those friends out side of school so I haven't talk to them since the last day. What can I do to start over sophomore year? Will they remember me or will they have moved on should I bother to text my school friends even though I never text them?

    I know a guy who redid 7th grade because he made no friends the first time around

    Well you can text them. It would be nice. I am a person who gets to know everybody. Maybe you should get to know some more people.
