smoke alarm problems ST620?
Any noted problems with ST620 smoke alarms , crackling noise and intermittent single bleep ( low alarm ) thanks .

The intermittant single beep is telling you that the battery is either not holding charge or faulty, either way it wants changing. The crackling noise is probably because the voltage to the speaker is so low that it is struggling to beep correctly.
ST620 are good alarms, but you may have the rogue one (not all electronic devices are perfect)
