My skin can get really bad - mainly my nose area, forehead ... what would be the best/recommended creams or face mask, whatever, I can use?

As a contractor, I get dust, mortar, cement and marble dust on my skin quite often. These act as desicants. I use Olay cream cleanser to get it off, and then Olay Complete mosterizer to resore the natural balance required. It has the added bonus of SPF 15 and lasts about 18 hours.

Well if you are using a sulfate cleanser then that is probably your issue. Same with acne cleansers. If you are trying to treat acne all over your face you want to stop. The best sulfate free cleanser I've found for my skin is Neutrogena Naturals. Don't get the creamy base one because I've found that didn't clean as well. You want the purifying facial cleanser. It's kinda see through. The cream is white. You can tell the difference in the bottle. A good way of getting rid of dead skin is a good exfoliator. I also like Neutrogena Naturals with this. Again it's sulfate free but it's not harsh either like the St. Ives can be. Stay away from St. Ives. Their scrub has chunks of apricot shell which actually scraps at your skin causing small lesions. Not to where you can see right away but it really irritates your skin over time. I also like Neutrogena creams. I wear a heavier night cream then a light day cream for during the day. If you do need to treat a pimple you need lancets. Just putting a spot treatment on a closed pimple does nothing since it doesn't attack the infection. You want to lance your pimple and gently squeeze it(with your fingers wrapped in toilet paper). If nothing comes out don't squeeze it with your nails. That causes scars. After you lance it clean the area and put spot treatment on it.

First exfoliate any dead flaky skin then use a intense moisturizer such as nivea or coco butter. Should do the trick after a week or so.
