is cheese a vegetable? I was just talking to my friend and she said that I should eat more vegetables. I really love cheese and I'm pretty sure it is. I would like to know, is cheese a vegetable? No trolls please, this is serious.

Actually, contrary to popular belief cheese IS a vegetable. It grows on cheese "bushes". Cows are normally associated with cheese because in the early days of cheese distribution farmers only had cows to pull their wagons. You see where it gets confusing? Anyways cheese is one of the healthiest foods you can eat, it's great for your cholesterol, as well as your waist. Best wishes!

No, cheese is unfortunately not a vegetable. I wish it was though! The great thing is, that you can put cheese on top of vegetables to make them taste better. I like cheddar cheese on top of broccoli! It is kind of like macaroni and cheese, but healthier.
