Moving to Canada because of obamacare?

Unfortunately your link doesn't name or quote a single person who said that they are moving to Canada -- let alone why they are moving or what political party they belong to. It is a blog site with a single statement plus a link to a story about the supreme court ruling (which doesn't even contain the word "Canada" or "moving") and another link to a wiki article on health care in Canada. The rest of the blog is full of satirical statements from people threatening to move to Canada.

Sorry... do you have any actual articles about republicans saying they are moving to Canada over the health care changes? A poll? At least some quotes?

when obamacare was originally argued in the congress, Rush Limbaugh famously said he would move to Costa Rica if it became law. Costa Rica of course has universal healthcare. but he's right, free health care (in Costa Rica) is a better deal than paying premiums for private insurance under obamacare.

FYI Canada already has universal health care, they call it Medicare. Unlike the US version of Medicare which is for seniors only and requires payment of premiums, the Canadian version covers all citizens with no premiums or co-payments. but indeed, send the republicans to canada where they will have to buy private insurance because they are not citizens. they will still have to pay taxes though that pay for the Canadians to get free care, hah.

Really? I'm Canadian and Canada DOES have universal health care. Republicans are just cheap and greedy.
