Anybody know about Tignanello purses?

It is real. Those bags are usually sold at Macy's and overage sold at places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx (even QVC of all places). You got a good deal. Normally, those bags are around $60-$70 if not on sale.

Believe it or not a lot of designer handbags out there (i.e. Burberry, Longchamp, Kate Spade, Coach) have manufacturing facilities in China. Why? These brands pay workers in China way cheaper than if they hired Italian leather makers.

Also, Tignanello is NOT a brand that counterfeiters will copy. It's not worth it since it does not cost anything. They target real designer brands like Chanel, Hermes, Givenchy, Dior, Prada, Gucci, Bottega, etc.

Just bought one @ GW for about $2 in Austin; it is beautiful and highly functional w/pockets and storage space galore. I loved the colors, which I rarely see together: Black and Brown. I Googled it (as a writer for more than 8 newspapers, this is first thing to find info...) and found Macy sells them from $107-$122, So I am sure they sell lower on secondary market, as I pulled up at least 2 ebay listings w/the search.. The entire purse is lined and has the name in leather attached inside there too. One thing of interest...there are three pieces of change SEWED INTO the lining. I can feel them, tell they are different sizes, but they definitely have some kind of image. I have thoroughly checked bag and found only one place looking hand stitched (all purses have em) and was wondering if any on else can hear change in their new/renewed purse, in the lining. Have a feeling this was done to protect name/trademark...haven't used my seam ripper yet...

I have found two Tignanello purses at Goodwill and they are fabulous. They are new, and in beautiful colors. One red , and one cream. I payed eight dollars for one, and got the other one on sale for five dollars. I also found a Balenciaga bag at Salvation Army (like new) for eight dollars. Owner never wore, and passed away. Kids gave everything to Salvation Army.

I've been pretty successful in finding authentic designer purses at Goodwill ... but I bought one today that I'm not sure about. (At $4.95 I'm not that concerned -- just curious.)

It's Tignanello -- has gold disks with name hanging from zippers -- kind of like a little leather...

Yeah, I love Coach purses they are so cute! I love about all of the purses they make and come to Nordstrom and other places! Some Coach purses are okay but I think none of them are ugly!
