Generally JG has pretty low quality internals and reliability varies hugely from gun to gun, i've known people who have used a jg m4 for years and never had a problem and i've seen people open the box and not even have it shoot. Between the two models you've chosen the full metal version would be better, purely because it has a metal body. The thing you have to remember with airsoft guns is, they will break. Its not a question of if, but when. When they do break the metal body will be a better candidate for upgrades and new internals than a plastic body. My advice would be to buy a Tokyo Marui or Classic Army, they are a little extra money but the quality and reliability are much much better. You will never find a metal G36, the real one is made with carbon fiber and most airsoft ones are just ABS plastic.
