  • What program must I down load to open SVG or AI files?

I appreciate any answer given but please keep in mind that I'm not technologically inclined...

What I'm trying to do is edit files that I made on my school's computers with Adobe illustrator that I uploaded to Thingiverse but I was just informed that there is a part missing from one of the SVG files I uploaded. I'm graduated now and only have auto desk inventor on my laptop. I can neither open or view the incomplete file Thingiverse users are requesting that I fix for then. I'm in need of software the can open or view SVG or AI files, If you know any that are free, Please let me know. Than you in advance and here is a link the the Thingiverse thing...

  • How to find relief from neck pain?

Hey everyone, I've been getting into road biking lately (15-25 mile range) and my neck really bothers me. I find myself needing to pop my neck while riding from soreness and even after while in bed. I was wondering if there is a way of avoiding or relieving the lasting neck ache I get from riding?nThank you for any answers or advice in advance.

  • is it dangerous to wear spandex Tri shorts that is too tight for my race?

I have a pair of Sugoi turbo triathlon shorts that Ive used in 1 race last year (they are my only ones) and my legs have bulked up quite a bit in muscle mass from running all year (150Lb 6ft male). my medium shorts are meant for 30-32 and that worked for me last year but now I'm a 34 and they feel tight. Is it a bad idea to races in shorts that are too tight? Could I possibly stretch them out by using them repeatedly over the weeks leading up to my competition or should I just buy new ones :(

  • What to include in my fishing kit?

I'm designing a fishing kit for my engineering class. Its essentially a nice plywood tackle box I've designed that has a cubby for a mini reel and a ridge to hold a telescopic rod that is 9 inches long. With both of those large objects inside, there are about 22 square inches of space (3.75 x 3 x 2) for which to make a grid to hold various fishing bits, What I would like to know is what I should be designing this area to hold? I know how to fish but am admittedly rubbish at it and don't really know what to use and when and what there names are when it comes to tackle.

Please give me some ideas of what my ultra light fishing kit should have for a novice fisherman who fishes around NJ. I've already thought to include a cubby for pliers and extra line, what other little fishing bits are essential? Any ideas welcome and thank you in advance.

  • Has there ever been a gym like this?

Has there ever been a gym that is powered by people using the machines? Like where the cycling machines and the elliptical machines generate electricity when used. Anything like that?

  • Could I go the distance?

I just turned 18 and have for the last four years of high school run track & XC. Last year I ran the NJ state triathlon (sprint distance) against a few guys from my track team with the winner getting a plaque stating that he is better than "the names of everybody who lost". With little training for the biking & swimming portion, I completed the sprint distance in 1:24.00. Now the Biking and running portions of the race were easy enough (being my bread & butter), but the 500 meter swim was very difficult for me. I swam a strong breast stroke for he first 100 meters or so but that's all I could do, I went the rest doing a slow back stroke! (approximately 14 min)

This year, I plan on completing the Olympic distance with some of the guys from last year (this years challenge is just to finish) and the swimming portion is 1500 meters!

The race is July 22. I want to know if there is enough time for significant improvement and if so how. I already plan on swimming weekly. Is that enough? Is there anything I can do outside the pool that would help with my swimming endurance? Opinions please (preferably those of experienced Tri-athletes, but any are welcome).

  • how to bounce back fast!?

I became ill yesterday (possible flu). Have fever, strep throat, slight congestion. I have a tack race on Saturday that I have already payed for but will be forced not to go if I'm still a health risk to the risk to my team. My coach told me that I should drink constantly (and piss ever 30 min) and sleep as much as possible. What else should I do? And I have drank 1.5 gallons of water in the last two hours but still don't need to go?

  • Is this true girls....?

I read a fact earlier today stating: women are most attracted to a man's butt, and that 66% of men only work on their torso, thinking that's what women find most attractive.

I find the first part a little hard to believe, I meant really? the butt?

I want to know what you have to say

Also, I'm still friends with an X girlfriend who jokes with me time to time saying i have "a girls butt" and a "switch". Would this be a good thing? (as in attractive or something to be embarrassed about?)

  • what should I do about this?

I'ma distance runner on my high school's winter track team and have been for the last 3 yrs. For as long as I can remember I have had a horrible bunion only on my right foot and for as long as I can remember my doctor has been telling me it will some day need re-corrective surgery. It, in seasons past, hasn't caused me much pain but it had caused a new problem to arise last week. The tendon that leads to my big toe has developed tendinitis from the amount of curve it has to deal with due to the bunion. Its unbearable to run and all my school's trainer does is give me ice. walking anywhere is a pain and running is torture now but I can't make myself stop. Running is the biggest part of my life and XC and track have become my social life, almost all my friends are on the team. My situation is both painful and depressing.

I know i must sound like a whiny ***** right now but any advice what to do wold be helpful.

Should i try to take a week or two off to let it recover (my trainer thinks it will keep coming back if i don't get the bunion fixed), should i get the surgery? (I would be depressed out of my mind not being able to run for months), or something else?

  • what type of spikes for 3200 meters?

With winter track a month a way, I want to get spikes for track usage. My event is the 3200 meter and I will be running on indoor tracks so what type of shoes would be best for that. Last winter spring I just ran in my trainers, and I can't use my XC spike because they just fell apart...

Would Spiked track shoes or flat track shoes be better for 3200s on indoor tracks?

  • Can mono come back once its gone away?

I had mono for a from mid august to the end of September. It completely wrecked the first half of my XC season but I have had a remarkable comeback, over the last 24 days I've gone from rank 30th on the team to 5th. BUT, Over the last four days I've felt ill, like I'm starting to come back down with mono and i have counties in 2 day. Me teams depending on me to medal but I feel like garbage right now.

Is it possible that mono has coming back or I'm just feeling sick in a regular way?

  • Could this be male breast cancer?

I am 17yr old and obviously a man and my bro gave me a nipple twister last month and he hit something underneath the skin. Its a small bump about the size of BB literally under the nipple. I found this about a month ago and its still there, still the same size. I really don't know what to think about it and don't want to think about it. Opinions please.
