At what age can a person enter a Disney theme park, without being accompanied by a parent?

This question was placed today on Yahoo /Paris Travel. Two kids 14 and 16 want to go to Disneyland, Paris, Their parents do not want to go in and will leave them at the main entrance.. I would assume that at Disney World, the rules are about the same. As yet they have not received a satisfacory answer.

I have worked the turnstiles at Magic Kingdom and was never told of an min age. Its not really mentioned because I seriously doubt a . toddler is going to wonder up to the gate. I have had kids under 10 walk through the turnstile and not get stopped to be asked where mom or dad are. If you parents feel its ok for you to be alone at WDW then I do not believe WDW cares.
