Barely an hour between flights?
I have never flown before, and in four days I am traveling to the other side of the globe with my daughter and niece (both teenagers). We are flying from our local airport to another, which is a short domestic flight, and then flying on to another country (where we will catch another flight to another country).
There is barely an hour between the first flight and the second- is that sufficient time? Since it is an international flight, do we have to check-in and go through security, etc. all over again?
I would not have chosen such a short timeframe between flights, but I booked the flights over the telephone and that is what was available. We have 3 hours between our second and third flights, and then coming home all of our layovers are extremely long (13 and 17 hours) so that one is the only one I am worried about.

you don't give any specifics as to which airports--even which country--you're talking about, but assuming that your first flight is within USA, I don't know a single airport for which an hour would not be sufficient. You check in at the first airport, and you stay on the secure side in transit, and you should be fine.

Okay so you will not have to check in again because you will already be behind the check in step and beside you already did it once so they know who you are. but you will have to go through security again well depending on the country and airport but 80% you will have to and then after that you just go to your gate and get on the plane when its time. Just with your second and third layover flights just hurry, so lets say you need to go to the bathroom or you need to get Vodka from a shop make sure its not to far from your gate and that you went through security first before you buy or do anything because you dont want to run to the other side of the airport and then go through security and shop and be late. but other than that you will be fine :)
