Does dell have a military discount?
If so how do I get it? I'm an AIT soldier and I kind of need a computer to keep in touch with family and actually do some of my coursework.

Usually, yes it does. Your best bet would be to go to the PX or Exchange or whatever you call it in your branch and ask in the electronics section. Several Computer companies have partnered up with AAFEES and or the Exchange System to offer deals to service members. (no taxes and you can probably use your "star card" to buy it through them)
EDIT: Here use this page from the Army Times to navigate and find Military Discounts (and Dell IS listed under computers)

Yes they do! Head to dell.com/fortbenning and you'll see a member purchase program price. Military members and their family members can also receive another 10% off of that (15% on military holidays) for a total discount UP TO 45% off. It's part of the new giveback program Dell recently started :)

Unfortunately, no. Dell do not have military discount. You can buy from their auction or refurbished line of products though and save a bit of cash. You can also apply for a Dell Financial Account and you can buy your computer on a monthly payment plan.
