How old do i have to be to get an industrial piercing?

I don't think there is an age limit. But I'm pretty sure no professional piercer will give that kind of pierceing to an extreamly young person (like a 9 year old). I think it's best to at least wait untill you are 15-16 to get an industrial. So you'll know that your ear won't grow anymore because you have pretty much finished growing.

It depends completely on the place, I know places near me that won't do piercings unless your 16(with parental consent) and some that will pierce 12 year olds(with parental consent.)

My suggestion would be to call places up and ask how old you need to be and what you need to bring; some need parents id and birth certificate, each place has a different way of doing things.

You have to be 18 to get a piercing without a parent accompanying you. It is illegal for any piercer to pierce a minor with out parental consent!

At the place I go to you have to be 16, but that may be different for your state. Try calling some places to see what they say.

most places wont let you until your 18 and can provide an ID, unless you find an underground artist.
