My dog ate two chocolate bars. Should I take her to a vet?
She's about 12-14 pounds. She ate a little less than two chocolate bars, but to keep things simple, I'll say she ate both. Both were milk chocolate, and added up to 200 grams - or 7.05 ounces, or .44 pounds.
She hasn't shown any symptoms of poisoning so far, like vomiting, diarrhea, or hyperactivity. I'm keeping a watch on her now. I'm also trying to keep her hydrated.
Is there anything else I can do? :(

According to this chart, 8 ounces of milk chocolate is enough to kill her. Get her to an emergency vet now.

She will be fine. At worst, she could have a bit of an upset tummy for an hour or two, but it's nothing to worry about. People seem to think chocolate is this deadly poison, where one drop will kill the dog. In reality, as long as it's not dark chocolate, and as long as it's not part of her daily diet, it won't have any real effect on her. Don't listen to these people who are telling you to give her hydrogen peroxide, or go to the vet. You'll only be wasting your time, and you will only be charged money by your vet to be told exactly what I told you in my answer.... people in the dog's section tend to overreact and freak you out, instead of answering logically.
My friend's dog managed to jump up on her kitchen table and eat a whole two decker chocolate cake. She was absolutely fine.

You should be alright milk chocolate is much less harmful than bakers or dark chocolate. she might have stomach ache and a loss of apatite and the bigger your dog is the more chocolate it would have to eat to make them sick. i once heard a story of a dog that ate 1 lb of milk chocolate and it had to have a stomach pump and stay under close care of a vet for 5 days but that was one of the worst cases recorded your dog will be okay.May I ask how your dog was able to get to 2 chocolate bars???

Don't panic too much, my dog got all of our Easter chocolates when she was a puppy and has stolen plenty more chocolate from where that came from, she's a mini foxy, so a small dog, and she at the worst just spewed everywhere, still alive today at the age of 14 human years. So you're dog will be fine, you don't need to take her to the vet

No, inspite of 70% dark, a single bar will do not something in a canine that super. Do call your vet, nevertheless and ask the comparable question: you will experience greater efficient approximately it. And keep in mind, grain alcolhol is poisonous to people yet we are in a position to specific drink distinctive beer without death. Chocolate is merely mildly poisonous to canine.

Everyone thinks that when dogs eat chocolate they will die or something. That is true but dogs would have to eat alot of chocolate. So no your dog will be fine it was just 2 chocolate bars it wasnt like a pound of chocolate or anything like that.

That's a fair amount of chocolate for a small dog. I would take her to a vet or at least put a call through to your vet for advice.

You can do that or you can give her some hydrogen peroxide, but i wouldn't do that without calling the vet first. Hopefully she will just throw it up. But yes keep her hydrated. Also check out this website: http://www.justanswer.com/sip/pets/General%20Veter...
I haven't used it but my friend has for her dog. She should be fine but I would call the vet just in case.
