Visiting Ireland.... best place to stay?
My friend and I are planning to visit Ireland (we live in the UK) next year for her birthday for a week or a few days. Just want to know where are some nice places to visit? I know Dublin is the most obvious one, as it's the city. But I like sights ... are there any places with great sights (hills, scenery, idk), thanks.
I know it isn't the only city, it's the most well known one though.

Dublin isn't the only city in Ireland. There's also Galway, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, and Waterford.
The best thing about Ireland is the countryside, and the most famous tourist areas are in the west, so you can visit www.discoverireland.ie and pretty much take your pick.

head out to Connemara, to Roundstone and Clifden. Then to Clare and visit the Burren. Stay in ballyvaughan
Orla C mentions some other cities too - though she seems to have forgotten about Belfast, Derry, Lisburn, Armagh and Newry. All also on the island of Ireland. Of those Armagh and Derry are great to visit.
