Who is the king of R&B today?

I think its all a toss up between Usher, Frank Ocean, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, and the Weeknd

Frank Ocean is easily the most hyped, but I don't think he can be the king until Channel Orange drops, and probably not even then. I dunno if he has enough material out. Usher used to be king, but his material has been sloppy for years, I think people are getting sick of him. Trey and Breezy's previous albums were dope, but both of their new albums are shaping up to be crap; they're not making hits like they used to. The Weeknd is easily my favorite right now; all of his mixtapes are incredibly creative and different than other artists. But he crosses into electronic and hip hop a lot more than others; I honestly don't consider him an R&B artist, he's probably his own genre. I guess, overall, Ocean's got the most potential and he's already getting cosigned by some of the biggest artists. If he's not king, he's definitely next in line for the throne.

R.Kelly will always be the king of contemporary R&B.

Anthony Hamilton is the best Neo-Soul artist right now.
