camera on video by mistake, is it possible to pull shots from it?

didnt want video so video are not useable, only few when persons were posing as for a normal shot. to edit these.?

    You can pull frames from it but it's a very long laborious process. There are somewhere between 24 and 30 frames per second, so you have to look through thousands to get the few that are good. Most of them will be unusable as still photos, although they look great as video - at 30fps - because the eye and brain cannot process the many many frames where people have a weird expression or look downright hideous.

    Also, the frames will only be as large as the video - 720 or 1080p - nowhere near the typical resolution output from the average camera.

    You can take a still out of it. Look for a video to jpeg converter.
