If you had an incision to have your hysterectomy this could have weekend the muscles causing the hernia, it wasn't necessarily something you were born with. It sounds like you should have it repaired and the sooner the better.

I think I may have the same problem although mine would be extremely small feeling like a bulged vein. I was inclined to think it was a vein since I have varicose veins but since I also fit the profile of a person who is likely to have a Inguinal hernia I think I should see a doctor and a second for a second opinion.
