How much child support should I pay?

Why not file first for custody? The first to file wins. Women only get custody most of the time because they filed first.

For 22 years, I have volunteered my time working with divorced/single fathers dealing in family law issues, such as child support, teaching them about what the states are not telling support obligors.

You WILL pay as much as the court orders you to pay.

ALL states now have No Fault divorce laws. That means that you can file for ANY reason -- no one is declared at fault.

Along with that comes No Punishment. She can F*** the whole state police force, and she is not punished. You STILL pay the FULL Child Support as order by the court.

Doesn't really matter to them, because Child Supprot is NOT considered to be income. She doesn;t declaere it on her taxes, but SOME state agencies WILL ask for the amount.

Depends on how much you make. If a court has to decide it, then you could pay up to 1/4 or more depending on state law where you live. I'd find out what she'd be allowed to get before volunteering any certain amount.

Why in the world would you let your children live with a woman like that??? I'd get custody!
